In conventional vacuum chambers made from aluminum or stainless steel, there were limits to cost reduction. By using aluminum honeycomb panels, we achieved significant weight reduction while maintaining equivalent rigidity and allowable deflection, resulting in a cost reduction of about 20%. We also passed repeated durability tests under a load of 10 tons per square meter in a vacuum, and these panels are now being used in actual manufacturing lines.
